The State of the Union (SOTU) address is something a President does each year before Congress to give the American public an idea of what the president has achieved and to argue what future policy should be considered by Congress. As of January 18, 2012 only 24% of the American public believe that the U.S. is on the right track (Source: Poll/Rasmussen).
