Dems Wanted Pet Projects in the American Family Aid Bill.

Democrats wanted progressive add-ins to the aid bill that have nothing to do with providing aid to American families, the economy, or dealing with Covid-19.

These pet projects included:

– New collective bargaining powers for unions.

– New fuel emission standards for airlines tied to the Green New Deal.

In especially during a time where the U.S. is now facing major economic risks for shutting down much the country and the economy, Democrats pushing for unrelated pet projects just doesn’t provide good optics to voters.
